These dates for our art exhibits and events are the most current to date. Should you happen to live (or be visiting) in the San Francisco/San Jose Northern California Bay Area, please try to attend at least one of these scheduled events!

The Cosmic Art of Robots and Space
October 4, 2008
Opening reception 5:00-9:00pm

Being spaced out can be a really good thing... especially when you attend this wild exhibition. The Cosmic Art of Robots and Space is an art exhibit of six fabulous artists from California to Arizona featuring their universally crazy and wild artwork.

Artists in attendance will include: Christine Benjamin, Tracy Cox, Doug Horne, Paul Loughridge, Sonya Paz and Shaunna Peterson.

Opening reception: Saturday, October 4, 2008, 5:00-9:00pm. This exhibit runs through October 17th and will be hosted out of our gallery in Santa Clara.

Sonya Paz™ Launches "Mommies with Cancer" Organization - August 9, 2008 5:00-9:00pm

Sonya Paz™ is pleased to announce a special exhibition and launch of the “Mommies with Cancer” organization. Sonya will be introducing her new painting “Life’s Love and Passion” based on a depiction of close family friend Cindy Nunez and her two young daughters. Cindy who lost her battle with Breast Cancer in August 2006 was a mommy with cancer.

Products based on this painting will also be introduced and available for sale to raise additional money for the organization along with a generous portion of all proceeds of the exhibition will be donated to this organization.

In June the EBSQ was hosting an on-line "In the Style Of..." an artists view on a modern replicas of the old masters works that was hosted on June 2, 2001.

May 2001

The San Jose Mercury News wrote an excellent article regarding the SharkByte Art event where I also was featured! I had created a conceptual design for one of the sharks and they printed it in the May 29th issue of the Mercury (PDF)

November 2000 & 2001

Sonya was the "featured artist" for November 2000 and November 2001 in the Art Site Guide website. She had also written monthly articles for the Art Site Guide on-line publication/art resource.
